On Saturday, May 3, 2008, a sell-out crowd gathered to honor folk performer and songwriter, with a special lifetime tribute and concert at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center at Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria Campus, Alexandria, VA.

In addition to live on-stage performances, a large television screen was utilized to present performers unable to attend but wanting to be included in the tribute.

Let's Get Together, a DVD containing highlights of the 20th Annual WFMA Benefit Weekend, is now available. This DVD includes performances by Oscar Brand, The Brothers Four, Hamilton Camp, Bill Danoff, Steve Gillette & Cindy Mangsen, Carolyn Hester & David Bloom, The Highwaymen, Christine Lavin, The Limeliters, Tommy Makem, David Mallett, The Chad Mitchell Trio, Modern Man, Tom Paxton, Schooner Fare, Side by Side, and Noel Paul Stookey. The WFMA Store is now Online. WFMA products may now be ordered online using a major credit card. New WFMA "Friends of Folk Music" memberships can also be processed through the online WFMA Store. New members will receive a free gift: Give Yourself to Love, a special CD containing highlights of the 15th Annual WFMA Benefit Weekend.
